Karen Jeane Mills is a graphic designer and illustrator who lives in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. She grew up experiencing life in different communities in Canada's Maritime provinces.

Karen studied drawing and art history at NSCAD University in Halifax, NS, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Spring 2006. She has since completed two web design internships for public organizations, as well as taking on freelance work.

Karen returned to school in 2009 to study Graphic Design at the Nova Scotia Community College campus in Middleton, NS. She graduated from the diploma program in Spring 2010, and continues to seek new projects and opportunities.
